Junior Production Manager

The Role:

We are on the hunt for a bright, enthusiastic and experienced production manager to join our team on a full time basis to work across broadcast, digital and social content projects. The right candidate must have a minimum 3 years experience in both production companies and/or creative/digital agencies. 

You will work closely with i2’s client-direct team (integrated projects) as key focus, and (when necessary) directly with client / agencies (media/pr) on content production jobs. 

You will be responsible to help produce campaign/project activities for i2’s direct clients and agency partners. Your role will support the project management team, as well as the senior producers when scoping and quoting on projects/productions. 

You must have a passion and ability to build a bank of knowledge on how to produce profitable, agile, and creative productions. Having the ability to think creatively and problem solves is essential for the role. Experience in producing innovative Social & Digital assets is a big advantage.

Your organisational skills, ability to multitask and prioritise, coupled with your strong production knowledge will help you solve the daily operational challenges on the production and remain on budget for all projects. 

THE ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your primary responsibilities are:

• Budget / quote jobs (social,digital & broadcast)
• Detail & manage production timelines, milestones & preparation of treatments, pre production meetings, etc.
• Manage production resources (editors, directors, animators, designers, Preditor's etc)
• Project manage & Produce smaller client jobs (pre & post production)
• Support senior producer on big production jobs 
• Search, secure & manage talent (where appropriate) - manage database for storage of talent, voice over, Music & CAD details and negotiations 
• Manage usage for talent, voice over & music rollover

Successful applicants will have:

• Tertiary Education in Marketing, Advertising, Digital or Broadcast production.
• At least 3 years experience working in a similar role within the production and/or agency industry.
• Knowledge of production, post production, budgeting and scheduling.
• Experience working across broadcast, digital and social content projects ideal.
• Network of production contacts preferable.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills including clear and concise reporting.
• Experience working with clients.
• Ability to self-manage and stay calm and focused while managing assigned projects and under tight deadlines and pressure.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Exceptional negotiating and risk management skills.
• Budgeting (ShowBiz, Workbook), Scheduling, Keynote, G-suite, Google Apps.
• A passion for film and TV, Art, Photography and generally making great work.
• Demonstrate initiative, ownership and a proactive ‘can do’ attitude.
• Maintains industry standard knowledge by attending relevant industry events and courses.
