Full time - New South Wales


The role involves both production assisting / coordination as well as office management and dealing with general admin tasks at a busy production company in Sydney. The role will be to offer production support to all our film producers and will work directly under our production manager. You will also need to manage general office administration and front line duties. Candidates will need a good knowledge and skill set  in the Adobe suite especially Indesign and be proficient at excel & word. This job is not entry level and candidates should have some prior experience working inhouse or freelance in the Film & TV industry. Drivers licence and car is essential. While the job is primarily office based you may also be required to work on set on our shoots. Hours are 9am - 6pm M-F but additional hours should be expected when we are busy as are the occasional weekend shoots. Salary to be reflective of experience and current references are essential. 

The role includes (but isn’t limited) to the following tasks:
Checking crew availabilities and assisting in managing crew holds with agents.
Checking studio availability and booking film equipment.
Generally assisting the Producers in any production tasks.
Managing travel arrangements and logistics for Producers & Directors.
Helping with Research for Quote, Directors’ treatments, locations, casting etc.
Assisting in writing up callsheets and other production documents for presentations.
Indesign is an essential software and there will be presentation layouts to do.
To manage the office & do all initial production co-ordination for our tvc/content shoots.
Supervising the office interns and PAs.
Setting up any freelancers in the office with our systems.
Opening the office each day at 9am and closing it at 6pm.
Answering the phones and greeting any office arrivals.
Stock taking & ordering stationary & grocery items. 
Managing the Photoplay iCal Calendar and schedules for the Producers.
Sourcing or making drinks / coffee and organising lunches daily.
Maintaining general day-to-day office upkeep and presentation.
Liaise with IT support and Building management when required .
Enter work into Advertising and Film Festivals monthly (in co-ordination with marketing producer).
