Full Time Directors Assistant Sweetshop

We are currently seeking an entry level full time Director’s Assistant in our Sydney office.

We are looking for someone who has a thorough understanding of film, a passion for photography, social media and visual trends.

We work across all facets of the industry including commercials, television, film, social media and interactive content. We partner with top global brands and advertising agencies as a world leader in creative content and communications.



You are able to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment. Along with a fantastic attention to detail, you are also highly motivated, confident, show initiative, are a problem solver, friendly and you are willing to learn new skills, be able to work independently and part of a team.

You have an interest in storytelling, film making, photography and visual mediums.

Communication skills are key, as you will often be working with directors and producers who are remote.



We are looking for someone who has a passion and thorough understanding of film and visual trends.

This role primarily involves image research and creation of visual treatments in collaboration with our directors and DAs in other offices. You will also assist in the management and creation of preproduction documents, editing of casting videos, proofreading of documents.



Strong knowledge and passion for films and film language. Experience with InDesign is essential.

An understanding of the Adobe Creative Cloud suite – in particular Premiere Pro and Photoshop – is highly desirable, experience in writing and proofreading a bonus. It is essential that you are able to manage your own time, work within a team environment, show initiative and an eagerness to learn.
