FSM has added to its first place gold in the prestigious Mobius Awards with the highly sought after Best of Show 2012 award. The recognition is in the VFX category for the TV, cinema and online campaign, Make It Possible, for the animal cruelty prevention charity Animals Australia.
The campaign launched to high acclaim in October 2012 and featured a CG pig named Peanut who led viewers through a real animal factory farm before flying to freedom.
Mobius attracts entries from across the globe. It is one of the longest running international awards, starting in 1971 and recognises creative work across a wide range of categories.
Mobius chairman, Lee Gluckman, travelled to Sydney for the occasion to personally present the Best of Show award to FSM on Wednesday evening.
FSM managing director Rick Schweikert said: “We’re blown away with the recognition by Mobius for the creativity, CG expertise and passion our team poured into the project. We also thank the creative talents at LOUD and Animals Australia for the opportunity to work on this special project. What is fantastic is the success the campaign has had raising awareness and funds to support Animals Australia.”
FSM managed all components of Make It Possible from edit, high-end 3D animation and final integration with supplied footage.
